Leadership transitions are part of everyday life in organizations. Yet they are always full of surprises. In light of the current public discussion on quotas, the institute is now researching the experiences of female leaders in transition on the following topics:
- Do female leaders in transition feel like "token women in management" or are they perceived as such by their environment?
- How do they perceive the challenges in their situation? What are the greatest challenges faced by women in leadership transition processes?
- Where do women look for support (e.g. (women's) networks, mentoring)? Do they have female role models who inspire them and offer them solution approaches?
- To what extent does the opportunity for a good work-life balance play a role for women in leadership transition processes?
